Projectile Lab two!

- Using the formulas, we will determine the time. We could use dx=vt to find out the time once we have dx.We can also figure out the distance and where the marble lands.

- First we prepared the Photogate, Labquest and launcher.
- Next we got the stopwatch out and put the marble at the top of the launcher.
- Then we released the marble while simultaneously starting the stopwatch.
- For the last step we repeated to above steps and marked down the data.

- The experiment proves that if we are given the dy, we can find out the dx and the time.

- : dx= 0.25m time= 0.22seconds dx= .5(g)(t)^2 is the equation So, we did .5(9.8)(0.22)

- -In this lab, our objective was to figure out the dx and the time using two photogates, a ramp, a labquest, and a marble. We can figure out the dx because we used the formula DY=0.5gt^2. Once we had the Dy and Time figured out, we had to find the Vx. We figured this out by using the formula Dx=Vxt.
